	Forest Bathing, Lapuna, our latest expansive installation, has now opened at Therme Euskirchen, of Thermengruppe Josef Wund, in Germany. The multi-sensory experience, developed in collaboration with art collective Marshmallow Laser Feast, invites visitors to step through a waterfall and embark on an immersive journey into the heart of the Amazonian rainforest. With a spatial narrative compressing a day's journey in the rainforest into a 24-minute experience, Forest Bathing, Lapuna invites participants into a tropical downpour, where rain machines, mist, and spatial audio saturate the senses in a sensory cleansing white noise. Participants are then invited to recline in temperature-controlled and vibroacoustic circular furniture, gaze upwards at a projection depicting a majestic kapok (lupuna) tree against the backdrop of the Amazonian sky, later transforming into the ephemeral and majestic Queen of the night flower housed high within its branches, and bathe in the rainforest, their bodies rooted into the floor of the forest, their toes dipping into the springs gushing through.

	Inspired by the Japanese tradition of ‘Shinrin-yoku’—or 'forest bath’, coined in the 1980’s as one of the best practices for physical and mental well-being—the installation creates an open-eyed meditation and encourages a symbiotic relationship with nature.

It marks a new approach being explored increasingly lately in experiential well-being. It invites visitors to explore their inner space by beckoning their senses and enabling a sensory reset and a reconnection with nature, a reconnection to their bodies in nature. It aims overall to restore sensitivity and feeling, an antidote to the clicking, typing, and swiping plagues of our time. It also aims to restore awareness and empathy and allows us to ground ourselves again, all while encouraging a collective moment of stillness.Most importantly, this viscerally crafted storytelling, powered by cutting-edge technology and grounded in proven science, aims to reconnect humanity to our senses, our own human technology.

	Forest Bathing, Lapuna is an interdisciplinary expansive experience par excellence. 
Spatially, it is inspired by gymnasiums and hammams, places for collective care and learning; it follows simple round shapes that represent purity, timelessness, and sacredness.
Water, a source of calmness throughout our human history, is quite present throughout the journey; people gathered by water for survival and still habitually do, which is why it became a recurrent element throughout our experience. 
The full materiality in the spaces is tactile and responsive; vibroacoustic heated furniture engulfs the visitors as well, allowing for a sense of collectivity, with everyone sharing this experience simultaneously. The scale of the seating in relation to the projections allows visitors to encounter a different space every time they recline on the seats; depending on where they sit, the auditory, olfactory, and visual experience is different with every visit. 
This is all supported by a three-dimensional sound field, calming bespoke floral brushstrokes by Scentronix, as well as a diurnal light change in media but also in space, in a familiar and intuitive way throughout the 24-minute experience. Technologically innovative, Forest Bathing, Lapuna combines 5k projection, a 55-speaker spatial sound environment, all choreographed together to transport visitors to the rainforest.

	Commissioned by the Josef Wund thermal spa group, this approach looks beyond the individual and instead imagines the future of well-being as a physical, natural, and social ecology and will be a permanent feature of the wellness offering at Therme Euskirchen.

	Khous and Khaizaran are weaving traditions shaped by land, climate and community. They are living practices that use natural materials such as palm fronds, reeds and cane. Across the Arab region, these weaving techniques share sensibilities, motifs and methods, reflecting a cultural continuity where material knowledge is passed across borders and through generations. These crafts are sustained not only by technique but by memory. They are passed from hand to hand, preserving knowledge that is embedded in gesture, rhythm and touch.

	The Thread That Binds reinterprets these traditions as an evolving architectural installation. Instead of a finished object on display, the piece grows throughout the exhibition. Artisans and visitors weave together. The structure expands slowly, through time, through participation and through the presence of many hands working in dialogue. The installation highlights the weavers as central protagonists. Their knowledge is the architecture. Their gestures shape the form. By bringing the act of weaving into the exhibition space, the work shifts attention from the final product to the process of making, where cultural identity is continuously formed. Weaving becomes a performance. A choreography of repetition. A collective act of remembering.

	The installation honors the role of Khous and Khaizaran in daily life. These crafts were never ornamental; they shaped homes, gatherings and seasonal labor. They connected communities to local resources and to the land itself. The Thread That Binds celebrates these traditions as living art forms. It invites reflection on slowness, materiality and interdependence. Each woven line marks a moment. Each pattern carries a memory. Together, they form a future built from inherited knowledge and shared experience.

	Developed for the ICOM Dubai 2025 Organizing Committee, the conference’s Visual Identity reflects a framework shaped by its core themes: intangible heritage, its transmission, and the evolving role of technology. The concept establishes a visual system where traditional craft logics and digital preservation intersect.

	At the core of the identity is the Mathkhar Sadu pattern, reinterpreted through a modular, high-contrast structure that echoes pixel logic while preserving the integrity of its traditional form. A subtle arrow is embedded within the pattern, pointing toward the future of museum-making. The dynamic logo morphs across different Sadu configurations, reflecting how intangible heritage expands, adapts, and travels across cultures, time, and mediums. Elements of the UAE’s flora, fauna, sea, and sail are woven into the evolving mark, resonating with the layered materiality of Khos weaving and reinforcing the connection between natural heritage and contemporary storytelling.

The future is in continuous flux—a dynamic current of possibilities waiting to be imagined and shaped. It isn’t something that simply arrives; it’s something we create.

In line with this year’s ICOM theme, The Future of Museums in Rapidly Changing Communities, we embrace this ever-shifting landscape with a campaign visual that evolves, adapts, and reinvents itself. A free-flowing forms morphs like shapeshifter, capturing the essence of transformation, malleability, and moldability—paired with dynamic gradients that evoke a sense of optimism.

An open-ended design that invites further exploration.&#38;nbsp;

	A toolkit was provided to all museum institutions and museums worldwide, offering a collection of key animations, illustrations, backgrounds, and wiggles to experiment with, adapt, and make their own. Naturally, beautiful and unique interpretations emerged—each future wiggle transformed to illustrate local stories and echo the vision of each place.

	The Al Fahidi Rehabilitation Project takes a visionary approach to restore the historic Al Fahidi Fort and establish an adjacent museum that revitalizes its spaces. The museum tells the fort’s story as a witness to Dubai’s transformation and showcases the history of Islamic weaponry and craftsmanship. Originally conceived and lead by Wassim Melki in his former role as associate partner inAtelier Brückner, the design respects the fort’s heritage with a minimalist, recessed structure that integrates seamlessly with its surroundings. The recessed structure is carefully planned to have the same footprint as the fort, and features an intentional architectural cut that opens up views to the fort's tower, accentuating its protective nature further. 
Since October 2024 TheLoveTriangle has taken over the role of Lead Design Consultant on the project.

	In addition to the architectural and exhibition design, our work on the Al Fahidi Rehabilitation Project extended into the elaboration of the full visual identity implementation.
This included the refinment and supervision of the branding, exhibition graphics , media design, signage, and wayfinding systems—each carefully developed to enhance the visitor experience while remaining sensitive to the historic context.

	Earth Dreams, an installation by Refik Anadol for the Museum of the Future invites visitors to step into a parallel dimension where the boundaries of reality and imagination blur, guided by the Museum’s iconic architecture and Anadol’s groundbreaking use of AI.The experience begins and ends with the Museum’s iconic calligraphy, reimagined as a living portal. Inspired by the poetic verses that define the building’s identity, the calligraphy peels away from the peripheral walls, flowing seamlessly into the installation space. This dreamlike transformation serves as both an invitation and a transition, connecting the physical architecture with the limitless possibilities of the immersive experience beyond.

	The design and spatial narrative link the iconic calligraphy of the Museum to the AI-powered dimension created by Refik Anadol. Visitors are transported into a world of data, light, and dreams, where the poetic essence of the building’s architecture merges with the innovative artistry of the installation.As part of our contribution, we developed the exhibition’s title visualization—a dynamic, data-driven interpretation inspired by the installation’s content. This title serves as a visual prelude to Anadol’s work, reflecting its essence and setting the tone for the journey inside. Similarly, we produced the introductory credit panel, seamlessly integrating the exhibition’s themes with the Museum’s visual language, ensuring a cohesive narrative from the moment visitors arrive.

	There is a big spectrum of flag definitions. For some, a flag is a reminder of home and family, a source of belonging and pride. For others, it is a sign of division and exclusion, a reminder of our differences. What is not deniable though, is that flags in a lot of cases evoke specific feelings of nationalism and patriotism and create more rifts and separation instead of bringing people together. Galerie Kernweine in collaboration with the The Love Triangle use the same medium, the flag, to examine the concepts and emotions people associate with this symbol, and try as a first step to retranslate it's messaging, in the hopes that in the future we wouldn’t be in need of it.The concepts of egalitarianism are and should be separable from concepts of honor-related nationalism enabled by such symbols.By calling into question the very idea of the nation state, "This is not a flag" exhibition challenges viewers to rethink their assumptions about patriotism as unity.In a world that is increasingly divided along national lines, it offers a timely and necessary reminder that we are all citizens of the cosmos. We are also one species of many, on one small pale blue dot orbiting one star in an unimaginably huge universe. The least we can do is be united.Raising a flag that doesn't want to be one, far from earthly conflicts, at an altitude of 44,000 meters allows us to witness our fragile pale blue dot, in the hopes of provoking a question around the need for such symbols, even when viewed up close.
This is not a flag.

	Reflecting on the faithful presence of anonymous mass-produced design in our everyday lives, ANONIMA PLASTICA draws from our ordinary imaginary to reconstruct an intimate collective scenography using ready-made objects.

The starting point of the work is the photographic research carried out in Lebanon, between 2018 and 2019, on the consistent appearance of white plastic chairs in the region, found in the most various contexts and unexpected settings. Through a wide selection of images, the research aims to translate the complexity of the Lebanese landscape and the coexistence of historical and modern ruins,where the plastic chair plays the role of a narrative device and a witness. This ubiquitous object embodies simultaneously the history of the industrial design’s global market (producing specimens that can be printed in 90 seconds out of 2.5 kg of plastic material, replicated over and over from Spain to India) and the collective knowledge through which communities adapt and appropriate space through the objects they can afford.The ready-made scenography realised site-specifically for SUPERATTICO showcases the pictures on different media and in turn anonymous objects. ANONIMA PLASTICA is an-going collaborative project by Giovanni E.Galanello and Francesca Gotti, with the contribution of Rana Rmeily and Wassim Melki.

	The exhibition was activated by a series of events: talks, happenings, and concerts. Among the talks a talk on Anonymous Design between Beirut and Rio De Janeiro.The talk was mainly probing the presence of anonymous objects in a city scape and their transformation leading us to question and examine what makes a city comfortable, accessible, and welcoming. It also elaborated on how anonymous design is open-ended, ever-changing, responding to the needs and whims of those who use it. To create comfortable cities we need to allow for anonymous objects to showcase the Informal beauty that make up our cities. 

Examples included Varanda Products, a joint initiative by the MAS Urban Design of ETH Zurich and RUA Arquitetos, Rio de Janeiro, for the Uneven Growth exhibition at MoMA New York. Making Heimat. Germany, Arrival Country architecture pavilion as part of the Venice biennale 2016 curated by Superattico. Terrace by Omar Fakhoury and Christian Zahr a site-specific intervention commissioned by TAP Lebanon. The Lebanese uprising and subsequent graffiti, as well as a study of several anonymous objects across the Lebanese city scape, part of an ongoing research project undertaken by Rana Rmeily.

	When in 1938 Orson Welles adapted the romance “The War of the Worlds” during the radio programme “The Mercury Theatre on the Air”, playing it as a real journalistic news, someone from the audience believed that the Earth was actually under extra-terrestrial attack.

The power of the media such as the radio in the 30s and the great interpretation of Welles achieved a rather unexpected result, producing indignation and raising protest against broadcasters.What would happen if  in the streets of Perugia the relocation of the Fontana del Nettuno was announced?In the past years, statues in many European cities have been protagonists of protests, targeted as symbols of colonialism and fascisms. A statue is a totemic object, with symbolic values, an instrument to communciate a message.Reflecting on the value and the role of the fountain, we proposed to create a provocation which is at the same time an excuse to train care and activism.The intervention was based on the fictional announcement that the fountain was to be removed from its location and acquired by a private foundation. 
A promotional campaign with posters and video and a construction site were realised to create credibility around the fiction. In parallel, a protest group was promoted by the partners of Edicola518 to create a counter voice.

	During the artistic residency week, we collected and recorded people’s opinions from social media and live in the streets with interviews, to keep track of the ongoing debate around the news.On the last day we organised a public meeting, with the aim of gathering support against the removal of the fountain: on that day we revealed that the intervention was fictional, and we gave the stage to people to express their opinion about the privatisation of the public domain, civic responsibility, the commons, and urban activism.The project was selected through the Call for Artists launched by Edicola518 and Teatro Sant’Ercolano. With the support of Coop Centro Italia Sezione Soci Perugia 1.

	The “see yourself window” is an established UI feature for all video conferencing platforms. It also took quite a big importance even before the COVID-19 virus, where people as public figures, influencers, employees in offices, lovers, etc., made sure the “see yourself window” is portraying the best image of themselves with the best light and surrounding. Some even went as far as buying special add-ons to enhance their appearance in this window.
However, in the past months, video-telephony became the only means of communication and interaction, thereby, imposing for a longer period our continuous presence as an additional person to converse with. The self became very important in the connections and exchange with other people.Evidently, us re-integrating in physical social interaction rather than virtual, necessitates an intermediate step that eases us into the in-person interactions and to the absence of the possibility of us observing ourselves.Which is where the see yourself window augmentation gadgets came to be. Available in round as well as rectangular shapes emulating the virtual see yourself window, these gadgets offer the possibility for your friends and family to ease you again into physical interaction by allowing you to see yourself while conversing with them through these easily attachable 3d printed mirror add-ons, customizable to each person’s ear size.Crafted to yoke perfectly with the face, the fixation on the ear is seamless and comfortable, and the gadgets are light weight and can be worn for long periods of time. That and, one of the 3d printed models offers the possibility &#38;nbsp;to adjust the mirror tilt to match the person-people facing you for them to better see themselves.
