At the heart of our new temporary exhibition for Porsche – 75 years Motorsport, sits a red ribbon cutting through the museum, wrapping around and responding to the architecture as it reveals six distinct perspectives on the world of Porsche Motorsport.
Moving beyond a linear timeline, the exhibition uses spatial storytelling to reveal motorsport as an identity deeply embedded in Porsche’s DNA from the very beginning.
The cars remain the stars, allowing the exhibition design to step back and give them the space they deserve.

Around them, layers of content open up the wider world of Porsche Motorsport: rarely displayed objects offer intimate glimpses into the drivers, individual races and the stories behind the cars, while archival footage and film fragments bring moments from Porsche’s racing history back to life.
Interactive media adds another, more playful dimension, inviting younger visitors in particular to step into the role of a racing driver and experience the thrill of motorsport for themselves. Together, these different layers move between the iconic and the personal, the historic and the experiential — revealing not only the machines and victories, but the people, emotions and culture that have shaped 75 years of Porsche Motorsport.
